##### DIPS...DIPS....######

Dips are the most popular appetizer to serve, they are
so popular because they taste so good.
They are easy to make, delicious and flavorful, and 
can be served with a huge variety of dippers.
What to serve with the dips?  Party dips, go well 
with tooth pick starters and also with Breadsticks,
Potato chips, Taco chips, Bruschetta, Crackers, Carrots
and Cucumber sticks and Bell pepper strips.
Other dips usually are served with simpler dippers like Crackers, flavored Tortilla chips, or the Nacho chips.
Hummus is a dip/spread that is made from chickpeas.
In fact, hummus is the Arabic word for chickpeas.
It is flavorful middle-eastern dip that is served with 
fresh vegetables or crisp crackers and pita bread.
The hummus taste varies, Some hummus have a strong 
lemon flavor, some have an overwhelming garlic flavor,
and some hummus has a spicy tone.
A simple recipe of hummus :
Hummus: Ings : Chickpeas, boiled and drained, lemon
juice, Tahini (sesame seed paste), make this by grinding 
sesame seeds with oil. Cloves of garlic cut,  Salt and white pepper.           
  • METHOD: Grind the chickpeas and mix with lemon juice, tahini, garlic, pepper powder and salt. Remember to drizzle Olive oil and sprinkle red chilly powder. Serve with pita crisps, crisp crackers or French bread slices.

Make a creamy dip : 
Allow cheese to get to room temperature, add milk and salt. Beat until smooth, for 4 minutes. Now add onion.  
 For a Mayonnaise Dip take… garlic + olive oil + 
green onion that are finely chopped, mix mayonnaise.
For a Nachos dip will need chopped onion, chopped 
garlic, tomatoes peeled and chopped, chilly powder,
hot sauce, grated cheddar cheese, oil,  capsicum ( roasted ),
corn flour. Method : Put a  pan to heat, add oil, cook onion , garlic, tomatoes,  capsicum, chilly powder and hot pepper sauce. + cornstarch, mixed in cold water; stir all. Lastly add cheese..serve with nacho chips..
