Smoothie is pronounced “Smooth-ee”.
A smoothie is a blended and sometimes sweetened beverage made from fresh fruit (fruit smoothie). In addition to fruit, many smoothies include crushed ice, frozen fruit, honey or contain syrup and ice ingredients. They have a milkshake-like consistency that is thicker than slush drinks. They can also contain milk, yogurt or ice cream. A smoothie is a drink which is made from fruit or vegetables, usually with added liquids such as yoghurt, milk or juices and often with additional flavorings such as honey, sugar or spices, which is blended in a mixer jar.
There are plenty of variations of smoothies in the world..
Smoothies are very simple to make. A smoothie can be a deliciously healthy way to fortify the body with fruits, vegetables, minerals and vitamins..
Smoothies can be enjoyed any time of the day. A good habit could be having a smoothie, every morning as part of a daily routine. By doing this you'll get the majority of your daily nutrition all before lunch. As it is high in water and nutrient content that will keep you hydrated and provide you with a feeling of well being.
Frozen, cut mixed fruit, n other ingredients would make a frozen smoothie.
A TASTY SMOOTHIE RECIPE..
Ings :
4 Round slices of Pineapple,
1 Apple cut into pieces,
1 Banana cut into pieces,
5 Strawberries cut into pieces,
1\4 Cup Watermelon cut into pieces,
1 Fig cut into pieces,
2 Dates cut into pieces,
2 Tbsp Kiwi crush,
1 Cup Orange juice,
Sugar, Ice, if needed.
Method : Cut all the fruits, dates and fig.
Pour the kiwi crush on it. Put all in the freezer
section of the fridge to chill.
When to serve, put all fruits and the orange juice
in a mixer jar, grind to a thick shake or thick juice.
Serve chilled. Add sugar and ice if needed, while
grinding..
