Quinoa, it’s pronounced “KEEN-wah“.
What is quinoa?
A species of goosefoot (Chenopodium), is a grain-like crop grown primarily for its edible seeds.
While quinoa is usually considered to be a whole grain,
it is actually a seed, but can be prepared like whole grains

such as rice or barley. It takes less time to cook than other 
whole grains, 10 to 15 minutes.
Second, quinoa tastes great on its own.
Quinoa provides all 9 essential amino acids, making it
a complete protein.
Quinoa is a gluten-free and cholesterol-free whole grain.
It is derived from the Spanish spelling of the Quechua name kinwa or occasionally "Qin-wah".
Quinoa originated in the Andean region of Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru, where it was successfully domesticated 3,000 to 4,000 years ago for human consumption.
Quinoa grains are in general cooked the same way as rice.
Quinoa can serve as a high-protein breakfast food mixed with honey, almonds, or berries.
