Many fruits and vegetables ...

Many fruits and vegetables, especially citrus fruits, contain vitamin C. Which also happens to be an essential nutrient. As early as the 1700's, vitamin C was referred to as the "antiscorbutic factor," since it helped prevent the disease called scurvy. Vitamin C is helps to have a proper functioning immune system. It also helps to fight infections and colds.
Vitamin C may also lower blood pressure and help maintain eye health.
Vitamin C is needed by the body for the development and maintenance of scar tissue, blood vessels, and cartilage.
An excellent way to spice up soups, curries, and sauces, green chillies provide the most vitamin C than any other food.
Oranges, citrus fruits, and their zest are all high in vitamin C.
Even Papaya is a fruit that contains a high dose of vitamin C.
Strawberries these luscious red berries are a popular source of vitamin C. Use them in milkshakes, ice creams, salads, desserts, and a variety of dishes.
Peaches also contain a significant amount of vitamin C.
Broccoli this green vegetable also contains lots of vitamin C.
The tomato is a common way that many people get some amount of vitamin C.

Most fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of vitamin C.
Excellent food sources of vitamin C include broccoli, bell peppers, parsley, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, lemon juice, strawberries, mustard greens, kiwifruit, papaya, kale, cabbage, romaine lettuce, turnip greens, oranges, cantaloupe, summer squash, grapefruit, pineapple, chard, tomatoes, collard greens, raspberries, spinach, green beans, fennel, cranberries, asparagus, watermelon, and winter squash.
