Kebab is a wide variety of skewered meals originating in the 
Middle East and later on adopted worldwide.
Kabab is a national dish of Iran. In the Middle East, however, kebab refers to meat that is cooked over or next to flames; large or small cuts of meat, or even ground meat; it may be served on plates, in sandwiches, or in bowls.
Chicken tikka are tandoori kebab, made of cubed chicken marinated with yogurt and spices.
The Kakori kabab made of minced meat with spices, a specialty in Lucknow & Delhi.
Seekh kabab prepared with minced meat with spices and grilled on skewers. 

It is cooked in a Tandoor, and is often served with chutneys or mint sauce.
It is often served as a tandoori platter, which contain a variety of tandoor cooked dishes. A seekh kebab can also be served in a naan bread much like döner kebab.
The meaning of Doner kebab is a Turkish dish made of meat cooked on a vertical spit, normally veal or beef but also a mixture of these with lamb; a cheaper version of chicken is also found.
The dish is also widely known by its Arabic name, shawarma, or in Greek as gyro. The sliced meat of a Doner kebab may be served wrapped in a flatbread such as lavash or pita or as a sandwich instead of being served on a plate.
Seekh Kebabs are flavorful little appetizers made from lamb, chicken or beef that are traditionally prepared in a Tandoor clay oven.
Satay or sate, is a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce. Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat, mutton, beef, pork, fish, other meats, or tofu.
Shish kebab is a dish consisting of meat threaded on a skewer and grilled. Any kind of meat may be used; cubes of fruit or vegetables are often threaded on the spit as well. Typical vegetables include tomato, bell pepper, onions, and mushrooms. In English, the word "kebab" usually refers to shish kebab. Shashlyk or Shashlik is a popular form of Shish kebab.
