A Garnish is an item or substance used as a decoration or embellishment on a prepared food dish or drink.
A garnish makes food or drink items more visually
appealing. Sometimes a garnish and a condiment will be used together to finish the presentation of a dish, for example an entrée.
Garnish should be edible not just throw it somewhere after serving it's purpose. The most important thing that you need to remember is that when choosing garnish, the garnishee's color.
