TASTY ' CHAAT' FROM THESE KATCHORIS . .
Besan Katchoris for the festival
Ings
1 Cup Fine Flour [Maida] ,
1Tsp Oil,
Salt to taste.
Method Make a dough of fine flour, oil and add salt to taste.
Make a Stuffing
1\4 Cup Bengal Gram Flour [ Besan ],
1-2 Tbsp Oil,
1 Tsp Red Chilly powder,
1\2 Tsp Dry Mango powder,[ Amchur powder],
1\2 Tsp Coriander powder,
1\4 Tsp Turmeric powder,
1\4 Tsp Garam masala,
Few pinch Hing,
One pinch Soda bi carb.
Method Mix all and use very little water
to make a dough.
Method to make Katchoris
Make small balls from the dough.
Roll a little, put one teaspoon filling.
Seal well, roll some more and fry in oil
on medium heat, until golden brown.
Serve with green chutney and sweet
chutney.

 



MAKE ' CHAAT ' USING THE ABOVE KATCHORIS

INGS : FOR 4-5 KATCHORIS WILL NEED . .

1 CUP CURD,
[ BEATEN SMOOTH WITH SALT, RED CHILLY,
SUGAR AND CUMIN POWDER.]

ONION AND POTATO CUT,
GREEN CHUTNEY, SWEET CHUTNEY,
SOME CORIANDER AND SEV TO SPRINKLE ON TOP.

METHOD : ON THE TOP OF THE KATCHORIS BREAK IT.
FILL IT WITH SOME CUT ONION AND POTATO PIECES.
SPRINKLE SOME CURD, GREEN CHUTNEY AND SWEET CHUTNEY.
ON TOP GARNISH WITH SEV AND CORIANDER LEAVES.
