OVEN TEMPERATURE . .. .


The home oven is used for baking, broiling, roasting and heating food. It is a commonly
used kitchen appliance that is used to cook foods, such as casseroles, meats, and baked goods, such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. The temperature is determined depending on the type of food that is to be  cooked and the way the food should be cooked. Most recipes specify a cooking temperature to get the best results. The following are Oven temperatures that are in Fahrenheit and their conversions in Celsius are given.

250°F  it is 120°C
275°F  it is 140°C.
300°F  it is  150°C
325°F  it is 160°C.
350°F  it is  180°C.
375°F  it is  190°C.
400°F  it is  200°C.
425°F  it is  220°C
450°F  it is  230°C.
475°F  it is  240°C.
500°F  it is  260°C.
550°F  it is  290°C.
For cooking and baking, no home should
be without an oven.
Best baking tips to use the oven are always follow the  temperature and time from the original recipe, as a guideline and always  checking when ' 3/4 '  done. Check and 
prevent burning of the food.
Always preheat of  the oven is the most important, when using the oven.
All cooking times are based on a preheated
oven unless otherwise stated in the recipe.
Place food in the center of the oven for even baking.  Baking is usually done in the middle
of the oven.
