Arbi leaves, Elephant ear also known as Colocassia leaves. These Arbi leaves are green
in color n have heart shaped leaves.
Colocassia are known as Eddo, Dasheen, Elephant's ear.
These are tuber and light brown in color.
A perennial tuber with huge heart-shaped leaves with the tuber's fibrous skin white
or cream or light pink in color.
In the Indian subcontinent both roots and
leaves are used in cooking.
Patra is nutritious and tasty snack made from the colocassia leaves on which a paste is applied and these leaves are tightly folded into bundles to be steamed.
