GREEN GATHIYA DIP
INGS:
1\4 CUP CORIANDER LEAVES,
2-3 GREEEN CHILLIES,
2 CLOVES OF GARLIC,
A PIECE OF TOMATO, GINGER
AND ONION,
2 TBSP COCONUT GRATED,
4 TBSP GATHIYA,
1\2 TSP SUGAR,
SALT TO TASTE,
1 TBSP LEMON JUICE.
METHOD:
WASH THE CORIANDER LEAVES.
PUT ALL THE INGS IN A MIXER JAR AND
GRIND TO A PASTE THAT LOOKS LIKE CHUTNEY.

Gathiya is a popular tea time snack
and is made of gramflour.
Make the lovely gathiya:
Ingredients:
Bengal gramflour (Besan),
Salt to taste,
Pinch of soda bicarbonate,
Oil for frying.
Method:
Mix besan, soda bicarbonate, salt.
Add some oil, use water to make a tight dough.
Use a gathiya maker and put oil to heat to fry the
gathiyas. Drop the gathiyas from the maker and fry.
