The Celsius temperature scale ,also known as centigrade scale is a scale on which the freezing point of water is 0 degrees Celsius and the boiling point of water is 100 degrees Celsius. Centigrade means "consisting of or divided into 100 degrees" and the Fahrenheit scale is one in which the freezing point of water is 32°F and the boiling point of water 212°F.
