Amba haldi is an aromatic stimulant, tonic and carminative.
It protects skin from atmospheric pollution, wr

inkles and bacteria.
It imparts resistance against allergies of throat, nose and trachiobranchital passage.


Haldi is commonly used in skincare preparations and treats pimples, acne and black heads.


It helps prevent and slow the growth of unwanted superfluous hair.
Both Haldi (Turmeric) and Kali Haldi (Black Zeodary) are used by the traditional healers in


treatment of hydrocele (A pathological accumulation of serous fluid in a bodily cavity, especially


in the scrotal pouch). Both are used externally.


FRESH HOME MADE AMBA HALDI
Haldi the fresh Turmeric is a member of the ginger family.
It is loud color i. e a deep orange inside.
Amba is another variety, known by some as "white" turmeric, is consumed by Southeast Asians.
Its flesh is a li
ghter color than common turmeric.
Take fresh turmeric in equal proportions of the yellow and white roots (the white variety is called


amba-haldi and has the flavouring of raw mango).
Also need lemon's juice and salt to taste.
MAKE TASTY AMBA HALDI AT HOME.
Ingredients
3-4 PIECES ORANGE COLOR HALDI,
3-4 PIECES WHITE HALDI,
2-3 LIME JUICE SQUEEZED,
SALT TO TASTE.
METHOD
Wash the fresh Turmeric.
Peel both fresh turmeric.
Cut in thin long juliennes.
Put in a jar, add salt and lime juice.
Shake well.
Store in the fridge section.
Serve along with the food.
