‘Mint’ is also known as ‘Pudina’, it is one of the most important herb.  Mint is one of the most versatile herb, it complements dishes both sweet and savory in a  wide variety of cuisines. It is full of freshness. Mint is one of the most simple to use natural herbs, it has a lot of good uses and taste good. . Mint the herb is very aromatic. But the color of mint leaves vary from dark green, blue, purple and yellow depending on the species.
Peppermint and Spearmint are the two best known of the mints. Few others like Moroccan Mint, Apple mint, Ginger Mint, Lemon Mint, Pineapple mint and the Chocolate mint. Mint leaves give a wonderful flavor to the food. It is a popular ingredient in various cuisines. Mint leaves have healing qualities, they give fresh breath by killing the bacteria, relax and soothe the stomach and reduce gas, it helps ease nausea during travel sickness, also reduces any inflammation. Mint is a remedy for cramps, gas, nausea, diarrhea and other stomach problems.          
Mint is used to give flavor foods and it added to beverages, gum, candies and toothpaste. 
Mint leaves are had fresh or in dried or frozen form.
