A ' KARELA' SUBZI, QUICK N SIMPLE....

bitter gourd recipe made with jaggery?

A simple Karela subzi using jaggery.
Wash the bitter gourds (karela) and peel,
cut into rounds. Sprinkle some salt and 
turmeric powder.
Later squeeze out the water|juice.
Put a pan to heat add oil, cumin seeds,
hing and curry leaves.
Also can add cut onions...
Also add the round slices of bitter gourd 
and cook until soft. Now add salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and grated jaggery. Also add one spoon tamarind pulp. 
Cook until done.
