a tomato info . ..
A plum tomato, also known as a processing tomato or paste tomato, is a type of tomato bred for sauce and packing purposes.
Small plum tomatoes (similar in size to cherry tomatoes) are known as grape tomatoes. A grape tomato is a class of tomatoes believed to be of southeast Asian origin, shaped similarly to the oval plum tomatoes but having the small size and sweetness of cherry tomatoes. Grape tomatoes produce small and typically oblong fruits. They are shaped like a plum and are denser which
gives a superior tomato sauce.
A cherry tomato is a very small variety of tomato.
Cherry tomatoes can be picked when green, then pickled to make a condiment called a tomolive.
Pear tomato or teardrop tomato is the common name for yellow, orange, and red varieties of this tomato; the yellow variety being most common. They are generally sweet, and are in the shape of

a pear, but smaller.
Eat the Tomatoes that are Red in color as they are the best, because they're packed with more of the antioxidant lycopene.
