How do apples get their different colors?

How do apples get their different colors?
Chlorophyll what makes plants green but there are different color chlorophyll that hide under the green and come out when green is absent. The variation in apples colors is simply due to the different pigments they contain. Like Green apples are green because they contain the green pigment chlorophyll, found in most plants and vital to their photosynthesis.
"Why apples are different colors?" there are three main reasons. Green apples are green because they contain the green pigment,
chlorophyll. Yellow apples start out green but the apple stops making chlorophyll as it matures. The chlorophyll it contains eventually degrades to reveal yellow carotenoid pigments that were there all along but being masked by the chlorophyll. Red apples follow the same pattern as yellow apples but start making a red pigment called anthocyanin.
Anthocyanins means water soluble pigments that change color with pH.Apples of the same variety are different colors depending on how ripe they were when picked.
