Curry Masala| Powder is a spice mixture. Simple recipe also ..

In the Indian cuisine homemade masala refers to spices,
and it is is the name given to the thick and paste type sauce based on a combination of spices with ghee (clarified butter), butter, palm oil or coconut milk.
The curry powders and pastes produced and consumed in 
India are extremely diverse; some red, some yellow, some brown; some with five spices and some with as many as 20 
or more. Besides these spices  other commonly found spices
in different curry powders in India are allspice, white pepper, ground mustard, ground ginger, cinnamon, roasted cumin, cloves, nutmeg, mace, green cardamom seeds or black cardamom pods, bay leaves and coriander seeds.
The curry  powder here is a dry one. A simple homemade masala recipe.
Combine all and grind together to get a dry powder.
Take dry Turmeric,  Coriander seeds, few Cardamom,
Black Pepper corns, Cayenne Pepper, dry  Ginger, 
Cumin seeds,  Nutmeg powder,  few  Cloves and some
Cinnamon stick. Few optional spices like Fennel seed,
Caraway, Basil,  Mace, Garlic powder, Mustard seeds,
Allspice and Thyme.
Make a quick curry masala mix by taking ground
Coriander powder,  ground Cumin powder,  ground
Fenugreek powder, Turmeric powder, ground Red Chilly powder and some Black Pepper powder.
