Pomodoro sauce

 
Pasta Pomodoro is an Italian food typically prepared with pasta, olive oil, fresh tomatoes, basil, and other fresh ingredients that may vary. It is intended to be a quick light dish, rather than a dish in a heavy sauce. Pomodoro means tomato in Italian.
Pomodoro sauce is a type of Italian tomato sauce that is often served over cooked pasta. Like marinara sauce, pomodoro sauce is made from tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and fresh basil. Pomodoro sauce is somewhat thicker than the traditional marinara sauce, because it is simmered longer.
Making a fresh Pomodoro sauce at home is easy n simple.
Always use a basic recipe, which would be quick to make.
Pomodoro sauce is a basic and Italian tomato based sauce.
INGS
3-4 Tomatoes; blanched n chopped,
4 tablespoons Olive oil,
4-5 cloves Garlic, chopped,
2 teaspoons Sugar,
1\4 cup of freshly chopped Basil,
2 tsp Cream,
Pepper powder n Red chilly flakes to taste,
Little of any herb enhance flavor,
Salt to taste.
Method
Put the tomatoes into a blender and blend until smooth.
Heat a pan add oil, add the cut onions, garlic, also add the tomatoes. Also add the basil, cream, sugar, salt n pepper powder to taste.
The ' Pomodoro sauce ' is best served over al dente pasta with a sprinkle of fresh grated fresh parmesan cheese. The homemade pomodoro sauce will keep fresh for one week in the refrigerator.
