Now in mango season never buy completely green mangoes,
as they may never ripen, but choose firm plump mangoes.
But slightly green papayas will ripen quickly at room temperature, if wrapped in newspaper. So buy Papayas that
are partly or completely yellow in color.
Select Pomegranates by weight and not by color. Check the outside of a ripe pomegranate, it should be from pink to a deep ruby red. Keep in mind that the heavier the pomegranates the better it is.
