Fudge, what is it?
Fudge is a type of Western confectionery which is usually very sweet, and extremely rich. It is made by mixing sugar, butter, and milk and heating it to the soft-ball stage at 240 °F (116 °C), and then beating the mixture while it cools so that it acquires a smooth, creamy consistency.
A Fudge could be a cooked chocolate confection.
Fudge is semisoft candy usually made with sugar, butter, milk or cream, corn syrup, and flavorings also.

They are shaped as small round cakes, hence the name..
Fudge cake is also popular as "Death by Chocolate".
One could say fudge cake is very similar to red velvet cake.
What is ' A red velvet cake ' , it is a popular cake with a dark red, bright red or red-brown color.
A hot-fudge sauce is thick chocolate sauce served hot.
