some more useful terms

PAR BOIL MEANS TO COOK FOOD UNTIL IT IS 'PARTIALLY' DONE.    
BLANCHING MEANS TO PUT VEGETABLES IN HOT WATER UNTIL TENDER. ONCE TENDER THEN PUT IN COLD WATER, SO THAT THE COOKING PROCESS STOPS. 
BLIND BAKE IS BAKE A UNFILLED PASTRY BASE OR TART OR PIES OR FLANS.
BEAT MEANS REGULAR MOVEMENTS TO GET A SMOOTH MIXTURE.
COAT MEANS COVER FOOD IN A THIN LAYER OF FLOUR OR ANY SAUCE.
CREAM MEANS TO BEAT BUTTER AND SUGAR UNTIL SMOOTH.
DREDGE MEANS TO SPRINKLE FLOUR OR SUGAR EVENLY ON THE FOOD.
DUST MEANS SPRINKLE FLOUR, SUGAR, SPICES OR ANY SEASONING OVER THE FOOD.
CUT AND FOLD MEANS TO GENTLY MIX FLOUR INTO THE MIXTURE.
GREASE AND DUST MEANS TO APPLY FAT LIKE BUTTER TO A DISH OR TIN BEFORE PUTTING IN THE OVEN AND SPRINKLE LITTLE FLOUR ALSO.
