NACHO CHIPS ...the tortilla chips


NACHO CHIPS are triangle shaped chips made from 
corn flour, vegetable oil, salt and water.

A tortilla chip is a snack food made from corn
tortillas ( rolled out rotis type ).
which are cut into wedges and then fried. 
The triangle shaped tortilla chips are often
seasoned with herbs and spices.
Although they are now available worldwide. 
They are typically served with a dip,such as 
salsa or guacamole.
A more elaborate dish using  the tortilla chips
or the  nachos, which consists tortilla chips
served with melted or shredded cheese, 
although often other toppings are added
or substituted, such as meat, salsa , refined 
beans, guacamole, sour cream, diced onions,
olives, and pickled jalapenos.  More  often nacho
chips are  baked for a short period oftime to warm
the tortillas and melt shredded cheese.

Salsa  refers  to any type of sauce.
In American English, it usually refers to 
the spicy, often tomato based, hot sauces 
typical of Mexican and Central American 
cuisine, particularly those used as dips. 
The typical ingredients of Salsa  include
tomato, onion, and spices, the thicker 
sauces often contain avocado also.

A dip or dipping sauce is a common 
condiment for many types of food.
Dips are used to add flavor to a food, 
such as pita bread, dumplings, crackers,
cut-up raw vegetables, seafood, cubed pieces
of meat and cheese, potato chips, tortilla chips,
and ' falafel.'
Dips are commonly used for finger foods, 
appetizers, and other easily held foods.
Salsa is a fresh or bottled sauce based on 
tomato, with various chilly,  onions, and herbs.
Used most often with tortilla chips.
A dip is usually made from mayonnaise, 
sour cream, blue cheese, milk, vinegar, 
onion powder,dry mustard, and garlic powder.
It is commonly used as a dip.
Guacamole is an avocado-based dip which
originated in Mexico.
 It is traditionally made by mashing ripe 
avocados, with salt, tomato, onion, garlic, 
lime juice and seasonings.
