Do u feel the deep-fried foods can be replaced with Oven fried

Do u feel the deep-fried foods can be replaced by doing in your oven or in your nonstick frying pan with a little bit of oil.?
It's the best way probably to get the crispiness and golden exterior of a fried food but with a lot less oil.?
For doing so one will still need to coat the food with some fat, it could be olive oil or butter but what will be used will be smaller amount to get some browning and crispiness on the surface.
oven-frying technique gives a crisp, seasoned exterior and moist, tender interior without all the fat and calories of deep-frying. For this technique, we have to coat the food in a light breading, spray it with oil and bake it.
