Winter Tomato, Carrot with Corn Soup

Soups are great as a tasty winter meal because they help control weight gain and boost ones nutrients than if the same foods are baked or stir-fried.
Soups are comforting, especially during the winter months, like the classic soups with vegetables or creamy chowder that warms the body and feeds the mind. As the soups are served piping hot, we eat it more slowly and so it gives us time to notice when we are full.
 

Winter Tomato, Carrot with Corn Soup
Ings
3 Tomatoes, blanched,
1 Garlic clove, grated,
1\2 Carrot, grated,
1 Onion, grated,
2 Tbsp Corn, boiled,
2 Tbsp Bread Croutons, toasted| fried,
1 Tbsp Sugar,
2 Tbsp Cream,
4-5 Tbsp Milk,
1 Tbsp Oil,
1 Tbsp Butter,
1 Tbsp Fine flour[ maida],
1 Tsp Corn flour,
1 Tbsp Water,
Salt n Pepper powder to taste..
METHOD
Boil the corn and blanch the tomatoes.
Toast the bread or fry to get the bread croutons.
Put a pan to heat, add oil add the grated garlic, onion n carrot
stir for few minutes. Now add the fine flour, butter, stir quickly.
This is the time to add the milk n cream. Take it off the heat.
Put the blanched tomatoes and the onion, carrot mixture in a
mixer jar. Then strain it and put to boil. Also add salt n pepper
powder, mix corn flour in water, add to the soup to thicken it.
Serve hot with boiled corn n bread croutons.
