What does a sandwich mean?
A sandwich is a food item made of two or more slices of leavened bread with one or more layers of filling, typically meat or cheese, with the addition of vegetables or salad. Sandwiches are a widely popular type of lunch food. The sandwich is said to have originated over two thousand years ago. 

A club sandwich, also called a clubhouse sandwich, is a sandwich with toasted bread. It is often cut into quarters and held together by hors d'œuvre sticks. It has two layers separated by an additional slice of bread. It is a type of sandwich, most often served as a double decker.
The BLT is a variety of sandwich containing Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato.
The Cucumber sandwich is very thin slices of cucumber placed between two thin slices of crustless, lightly buttered white bread.

The coleslaw or potato salad is often reduced to a "garnish" portion along with french fries n potato chips.
Today different types of sandwiches are easy to make and easy
to carry also.
The best part of sandwiches is that everyone has his or her own personal view of what makes a great sandwich.
